Armenian music has always been ever-present in my life from as long as I can remember.
My father was very active in the Armenian Community and events. My brother later started to DJ too and that opened a path for me that changed my life; I too started DJ-ing. I was finally able to express myself on a musical level and watch the crowd react to my taste. Having said all this, Armenian music became an even more important part of me.
Years later, I was offered an opportunity to take part in an online radio station, by adding an Armenian segment to it weekly (thanks Sam!). I interviewed some of my favourite Armenian singers and musicians on the air, live! It was a great learning experience, but more than that, it was so much fun! Soon after, I was given the opportunity to have my own online radio station. In a blink of an eye, I accepted.
